Description

Peninsula Valdés is the most important geographical feature of the Argentine coast. It is located in the northern stretch of the coast of Patagonia, in the province of Chubut in 1999, Peninsula Valdés was declared a Natural Heritage of Humanity by the UNESCO.

Wilde animals like whale comes every year from June to December to breed and mate near the coast. Apart from the whales, which can be seen from the coastline of the city of Puerto Madryn, the nearest town to Peninsula Valdés, there is Punta Tombo and its amazing colony of Magellan penguins
